#7: Big Not-Dam Bridge | Favorite Shots of ‘09
I have got more use out of my Sigma 10-20mm lens than any other in my bag. This was my first real outing with the Sigma, and my first time to take a trip out to the Junction Bridge.
There were several great shots from this trip, the wide angle lens is perfect for this setting. This one makes the list over the others because I love the way this really pulls everything in. I’ve also used this photo in about 5 ads so far, so it has made the rounds.

#8 River Rail | Favorite Shots of ‘09
This shot ended up being complete chance. I originally went to river front park in LR, and got several great shots of the area. I was near the end of shoot and was walking down to the Peabody when I looked up and noticed the trolley going across the bridge. I took a couple of shots just before I turned around to walk back. When I got home I instantly fell in love with this one.
It made the list because I love the color contrast of the yellow trolley with the blue sky. It was really the beginning of a period of uncluttered simplistic shots that I started taking.
